Roger Maris was a professional baseball player. He set the single season homerun record in 1961 when he hit 61 homeruns. Maris played most of his career with the Yankees and won 2 MVP awards.

Baseball CardsEdit

Roger Maris has over 1400 baseball cards listed. His rookie card is in the 1958 Topps set, that sells for $150-$200 ungraded, a PSA 9 sold for $4200 on eBay in May 2008. His 1961 Topps and 1962 Topps are also fairly notable cards, celebrating his new record.

Roger Maris's first autographed card was a Cut Signature card in the 2000 Yankees Lengends set. Another notable card is the 2002 Fleer Fall Classics Rival Factions Dual Game Used (one of the very few Maris/Ruth dual cards). Maris game used cards still gather significant demand in the market and his cut signature cards still garner upwards of $1000 dollar prices.

Game Used Items=Edit

Actual game used items from Roger Maris's playing career are extremely rare.

Signed baseballs, photographs and posters typically sell for $500 or more on the open market.
