Book Value typically refers to the High or Low Values as shown in a Beckett Almanac or latest monthly price guide. These prices do not typically fluxate for 99% of the baseball cards in existence. The validity of the pricing is a major debate, as BV's typically overvalue most cards compared to the open market (particularly low-end game used) and under value many cards (typically 1990's insert sets).

Book Value pricings can be found through either a subscription to an online price guide or in a magazine.
