The Late Bloomers set was an insert set in 1999 Bowman. The cards were inserted 1:12 Series 1 packs. Each card features a major league star whose lower draft pick status or slow rise through the minor had each one not necessarily labeled as a prospect. However each went on to have a great major league career.
